Before any welding we check where and how badly the wheel is cracked, and we tell you honestly whether it can be repaired safely.
How it is done
The process
- We locate the crack and inspect the wheel
- We clean and prepare the area
- We weld with aluminium TIG
- We smooth it, check for air leaks and, if you like, coat it

Is a welded wheel safe?
When the crack is in a spot that allows repair and the welding is done correctly, yes. If it is not safe, we do not weld it and we tell you.
Will the weld be visible?
After smoothing and coating, no.
Do you also weld cracked wheels that lose air?
